Dr. Paula Casal at the Opening Session - Year 2015-16
ICREA Research professor Paula Casal spoke on Tuesday November 24th before an audience at the Auditorium of Campus de la Comunicació, in UPF-Poblenou. During the lecture, professor Casal explored the differences between the concepts of persons and humans, why persons are generally mammals, why we speak of rights and other ethical implications. This lecture was part of the opening session of the MA in International Studies on Media, Power, and Difference. Paula Casal's lecture was called " Why Persons have rights?".
